We are a small family run company offering a personal and friendly service.

Our two boats were designed and equipped as if each was going to be used solely by us. This means that all the equipment, including the furnishings, fixtures and fittings, right down to the crockery and cutlery, were chosen with quality, attractiveness and comfort in mind.

Whenever you come on board, whether for a day trip or for a longer cruise, we hope that you will feel that the boat you have hired is as you would have designed it if you owned it yourself. From the time that you step onto one of our boats until the time you step off, we want you to feel so comfortable and at home that you will forget that this is a rental boat.

To foster the feeling that for a short time this boat is your boat, our company ethos is to provide you with everything that you could possibly need during your holiday on the water. Consequently, both boats carry all the equipment that you will require for a comfortable trip - from the indispensable wine opener right through to cleaning products, aluminum foil, paper serviettes, soap; even books, cassettes, games and a lot more in between.

AND the attention to detail does not end inside the boat. Both boats are decorated with their own individual artwork and each carries its own flower boxes complete with brightly coloured seasonal flowers. Your responsibility extends to making sure that the flowers are watered in very hot weather and you are also invited to clean brasswork (where necessary) if you feel so inclined!!

The sense of ownership is enhanced by the reactions our boats receive on the Dutch canals. English traditional narrowboats are not common here and practically everyone you meet - both on the water or on the tow paths - will wave or comment. People often approach to find out a bit more about our very different looking boats and this is a good way to break down cultural barriers and have a chat.
